Digitization of the Folklore Archive at Rudaki Institute of Language and Literature

This project has resulted in an inventory and survey from the folklore archive of the Rudaki Institute of Language and Literature in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. The archive’s holdings include bound notebooks, notecards, and loose-leaf papers documenting Soviet folklore collecting expeditions in the Tajik SSR and contiguous Persian-speaking regions from the early 1920s until the end of the Soviet period. The project included training and sample digitization that improve the possibility for research and preservation of the archive's collections. The archive’s long-term goals include preservation and digitization of the complete collection.

Дар натиҷаи ин лоиҳа нақшаи рақамисозии бойгонии фолклор дар институти забон ва адабиёти ба номи Рӯдакӣ дар Душанбе, Тоҷикистон сурат гирифт. Дар хазинаи бойгонӣ дафтарҳо, дафтарчаҳо ва дигар маводи хаттӣ мавҷуданд, ки дар бораи экспедитсияҳои фолклоршиносӣ дар Тоҷикистон ва манотиқи ҳамсояи форсизабон аз ибтидои солҳои 1920 то имрӯз ҳуҷҷатгузорӣ шудаанд. Натиҷаҳои лоиҳа барои такмил додани имкониятҳо ва қобилиятҳои таҳқиқоти илмй, ва нигоҳ доштани маводи ганҷинаи шуъбаи фолклор ва гузаронидани тадқиқот ва инвентаризатсияи мавод, омўзиш барои архивчиён оид ба таҷрибаи пешрафта ва харидани таҷҳизоти зарурӣ назаррас буд.
