Cine Casero launches second MEAP grant project with community meeting

MEAP grantees at Cine Casero in Uruguay called their First Meeting of Superochista filmmakers, inviting amateur and independent film makers from the 1970s and 80s to participate in a community conversation. The event was a kick off to the Superochistas project, allowing the filmmakers to get to know each other and to learn about the dynamics and objectives of the project. Project lead, Felipe Bellocq says, “It was a highly successful and very emotional day, we really felt that a feeling of community and appreciation towards the project was generated. Everyone was very open, grateful and involved with the proposal.”
